Finding The Right Fruits To Grow
Obviously, your climate is going to have a certain amount of influence over what you can and can’t grow. However, certain things can work well enough in any climate, as long as you can create the ideal conditions. Mushrooms are a good example of this. You’re also obviously going to have to take into consideration the amount of space you have.
Avocados can grow almost through the entire year. However, it can take several years to produce a quality crop of any size. Apples are another fruit that can grow throughout much of the year, and there are others that can grow for upwards of 2 growing seasons. For example, you can grow grapefruits throughout the winter and spring. Bananas are another example of a fruit that can be grown all throughout the year.

Ultimately, everything can be broken down into plant-based fruits and tree-based fruits. Bananas, blueberries, cranberries, blackberries, raspberries, and cactus pears are all examples of plant-based fruits.
For tree-based fruits, you have avocados, apples, persimmon, peaches, elderberries, and grapefruits. Not everyone is going to have the space for trees, but the above options represent the most popular fruits to grow throughout the country. Most of these fruits have versions that are suited to specific weather conditions.
Small Space Tips
If you don’t have a lot of space to work with, don’t worry. You can still enjoy everything about all year home gardening. With the right conditions and containers, you can actually grow a number of veggies and fruits throughout the year.
All year gardening with small spaces can even work with certain tress. Choosing dwarf trees can be quite effective. You can also choose to create a vertical garden. The important thing to keep in mind is that you almost always have options in front of you.
